TU Braunschweig sees itself as an open-minded research university that attracts students and scientists from many nations. Our central location in Europe’s most research-intensive region makes us particularly attractive to international guests and shapes our university’s intercultural study and work environment.
Internationalisation is a dynamic process that needs continuous further development and the support of the entire university. A broad range of individual measures and projects contribute to TU Braunschweig‘s international profile. New measures are welcome any time, so please don’t hesitate to contact us!
Internationalisation plays a central role in TU Braunschweig’s overall strategic process. During the “Internationalisation of Universities” audit conducted by the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), we were able to work out what such a process might look like at TU Braunschweig, and identified both our innate strengths and areas for improvement.
The Internationalisation Committee and the International House follow and support TU Braunschweig’s internationalisation activities. The International House integrates services and expertise and is the central point of contact for all the university’s international activities. The Internationalisation Committee helps to coordinate internationalisation topics across departments and disciplines and, as a steering committee, advises the Senate, the Executive Board and all members of our university on questions relating to internationalisation.
Decisions, reports, a translation glossary and image brochures: during the course of the internationalisation process, a considerable number of documents were created to inform you about the process and help you in your work. They are also useful in interactions with international partners.
